Refurbished Victorian Detached House

With a dedicated attention to detail, the discerning clients undertook an extensive and detailed refurbishment of this detached Victorian house, extending it sympathetically and creating beautiful surrounding gardens, designed to compliment the building.

Working extensively with the clients and their construction team, Mike Shackleton and a team of ogl electricians created a detailed exterior wiring plan that linked into the advanced Lutron switching system installed inside the house, to create a broad palette of garden lighting that could be individually controlled from each entrance of the client’s new home.

Coupled to this is an automatic system for the main entrance and drive lights, which instructs those specific lights come on automatically at dusk and then switch off at a pre-determined time, meaning the clients never come home to a completely dark house.

OGL recently completed a large garden lighting scheme for us at our primary residence in Esher. The process of design, integration with the professional team through to the final implementation was seamless.

Mike and his team of extremely professional, well turned out and polite operatives were a pleasure to deal with. As with any project, there were things that did not go according to plan – but the OGL team made sure that we, as clients, were only presented with solutions not problems. Post contract work was handled swiftly and priced fairly.
